Loved Ones Lost

Among us today is sorrow,

of the ones we lost today.

A nation full of agony,

a time for us to pray.

The terror is within us all,

as we mourn the dead.

And through the midst of it all,

a nation we will defend.

The power of the soul,

is what they now will fight.

Our country now with this goal,

as a nation we unite.

Our country is the heartfelt kind,

with lots of love for life.

With this in mind,

we still search for life.

A picture of loved ones lost,

is not all that we have.

The memories within our hearts,

forever they will last.
