All there and gone

In my dreams (there you are)

Hiding away in a field of flowers

Long ago

We lost touch

Our bodies out of tune to this music

Life (life) Life (life), what does it matter anymore?

Swelling darkness enveloping my ears

Shadows whispering to me all these voices

This lonely sound of you so near

This lonely sound you held so dear

The day is thick with black, don't know if I'll get out

A reflection full of pictures has me by the neck

Painting my eyes closed with regret

Painting him away...

There are no more raindrops in my head

Shivers criss-crossing their way through my skin

Your memory bouncing against my heart

These words, this song, it's all there and gone

Blooming happiness just so it can wither

All before dawn

Thoughts boiling to the surface

Stinging my eyes with your lips coming down on me

Our shadows detonating on the walls

Sing to me my darling

Your voice alone is my guide through

Let me see you

Laughing all the crimes you've committed away

You were always like that

Let every single star in the sky come down

Pick us up, take us away

These words, this song, all there and gone

These words are my heart

This song is my soul

And, with you

They're all there

And

They're gone.
