The Masks We Wear
What mask is this
I'm not so sure
It once was mine
But that was before
Who is this man
Hes no friend of mine
His face looks so familiar
Another place another time
We all have something to hide
But it doesn't change
Who we are inside
We are the in between
Something no ones ever seen
We only reveal
What we can afford to lose
The masks we wear
Is the life we choose
They call him two faced
A hypocrite it's true
They say he would lie to your face
And say the sky is green
And that the grass is blue
They say he would stab you in the back
Even though he never threw a stone
Yeah you're friends might not care
But its better than being alone
We all have something to hide
But it doesn't change
Who we are inside
We are the in between
Something no ones ever seen
We only reveal
What we can afford to lose
The masks we wear
Is the life we choose
