You've lost a pillar of your home, you've lost a pillar of you
Someone who did not only hold the structure of your being, but she kept the lights on
She closed the curtains during vulnerable times, your safety was secured
When your mind went into dark spaces, she made sure you ventilate, as a reminder of the gift of life
She was your pillar, she was your life
How could you ever heal? You never healed
Fervently trying to replace the bare bones of your existence, you struggled
You took the highway to join her as the clarity you probed resided within her
You're okay now, reborn into life once again
