I’m here and there but I’m neither really here nor there
I’m here and everywhere but am not really anywhere
I am black as the dark but am really very bright
I am terribly wrong but also definitely quite right.

I am very bad but that also is really very good
I am hungry but I also provide the tasty food
I am also the keeper of time but am also timeless
I am the sharp point which makes it so pointless

I am the radiant morning and I’m also the darkest night
I act with a lot of courage but shrink with fright
I seek the law and act on that which is so unlawful
I am totally sinless and yet am so completely sinful

I am the nothing or zero, which is really something
I am several things put together to form a whole one thing
I am the bright sun as well as the cool moon
I am the terrible curse as well as the blessed boon

I am that which is living but really brain dead
I am the very tail though I haven’t lost my head
I am that which is concrete though abstract I may be
I am completely blind though I can really look and see

I am the Holy word as well as a trivial crumb
I am the spoken Truth while remaining so dumb
I am just a failure who has lived with recognition
I am just a failure who has gained distinction

I am the giver of good fortune though I remain unlucky
I am the ruler of the universe and the one that is ruled
I am the fooler of the world and the one that is fooled
I am the giver of life and the receiver of death

I am the sustainer of poverty and the provider of wealth
I am so undernourished but the fountainhead of good health
I’m with it but without it; I’m it but really not it
For I’m the everlasting so called universal spirit
