The Street's

when you live on the streets
you find that you can perform some incredible feats
like not eating for weeks

when your blisters all meet
to become the soles of your feet

and your pain stops to complain

walking around for hours from alley to Park
abandoned house or vacant lot

avoiding the uniform stops loitering, trespassing tickets,

court dates
new cell mates
making license plates

lost in the system, a number not a name
do your time come out the same

hit the streets all-too-familiar
life just repeats, until it deletes
