My inheritance.

by Pranav21090

Once again, the shades are closing in, Only escape is locked with my dreams. Heavy is the curse borne by my kin, Soon my turn will come, it seems. Mother was eaten up from within, Though I could never hear her screams. She drowned to win her battle, A different path I'm trying to weave. Hush, not so loud, this mind is brittle! Go away or make them leave! Oh listen to fate's cruel chuckle, She won't stop till she makes me a reason to grieve.
