The angels of heaven
asked God in his kingdom
why he loved the beggar
more than the king
of many an earthly kingdom?
God replied that the beggar
did not hesitate to beg for his food
while the king killed others in war
and claimed it was for the common good.

God then looked at his angels
as he his laws explained
All men are at various stages
of learning which they have obtained.
For it is the beggar
who is at a higher level
than a mere king

The angels of heaven
asked God in his kingdom
why he loved the thieves
more then the priests
of the temple where he lives?
God replied that the thief
stole from man for his need
while the sacred priests
stole out of his greed.

God then looked at his angels
as he his laws explained
All men are at various stages
of learning which they have obtained.
For it is the thief
Who is at a greater level
Than the so called priest.

The angels of heaven
asked God in his kingdom
why he loved mad men on earth
more than those men of wisdom
of whom there was a dearth?
God replied that the irrationality of the mad men
made them do deeds beyond comprehension
while the rational wisdom of the wise men
made them perform acts without compassion.

God then looked at his angels
as he his laws explained
All men are at various stages
of learning which they have obtained.
For its a mad man
Who is at the closest level
To the wisdom of the wise.

The angels of heaven
asked God in his kingdom
why he loved the drunk and the ****
more than the sober men so seldom
though to God they did come?
God replied that the drunk were those
Who knew not what they did
But the sober who were so close
had not understood God’s word or deed.

God then looked at his angels
as he his laws explained
All men are at various stages
of learning which they have obtained.
For it is the drunk and the ****
Who are at the highest level
Than the sober who consider them ****

So my friends it is not what you are
or how good you are
which is important in life
while it is humility and sincerity
in thought and deed
coupled with lack of arrogance and greed
that makes such lowly people esteemed
in the sight of our divine God, so deemed.
For God knows that it is the beggar,
the thief, the mad man,
the drunkard and the **** who wager;
who need his love much more
than the king, the priest, the wise and the sober
For he believes that they so sore
Whom the world considers lousy
are closer to heaven and salvation
and whatever one may say or fancy
there is no point in just loving the externally good.
