IF DEATH
If it was easy,
I would have taken a
battle with her who ends
life.
I would have fought her
with my pen even though I
knew my ribcage is dead, I
would be defeated.
I would have danced and
welcomed her; hug her and
would have played to her my
musical lyrics of love.
I would have taken a walk
with her to the land of no
return where she came from...
I would have told her the
story of a wordsmith who
adores death, yearns for her to
touch his skin and kiss his soul.
I would have told her of
the story of he who belch
his dirges of love in his words.
I would have told her of
the dirges of a defeated
sailor who sailed through the
day and night to kiss her
that ends life.
