Thinking

To think

Or not to think

That is the question

When I think

All the bad things hit me

The screaming

"Your ugly"

The verbal punches

I have to turn away from the mirror

Because they turned me against myself

When I do not think

I shut everyone out

No one can penetrate my walls

Built of all the insults

over the years

When I think

People can help me

When I don't think

People can't

Which is worse?

I ask you...
