Your love for me is like a diamond, never to be broken
So why can’t you love who I am?

I show you my true self and I feel defeated.
You laugh at my outfits and the way I style my hair
You think it’s a joke
You want me dressing in skirts and heels
When I truly vibe with sweats and dr martens

You say it’s because I remind you of your brother,
But I’m not him
I want you to accept me fully
And you say you do,
Yet you act as if it’s criminalistic

You want me to live a lavish life
With jewels and pearls

But I’m in this labyrinth of suffering
And I’m afraid I’ll never get out.
You ask me to share my problems,
But if it’s not providential you don’t want to  be bothered
I tell you how my thoughts are inescapable
But you punish me for not containing it

Your love for me is like a diamond
Never to be broken
My love for you will always be above all
I just hope one day
You can see
me.
