“Screaming Silent Fear”

Silence is here it is there
It screams at the walls
And scratches in the halls

Its breath I smell
Its touch so cold
The madness takes hold

Then throws me into shame
For emptiness I fear
And darkness I hold dear

As night draws near
I lay down my ear
Nothing do I hear

So terror grips
As the void looks back
And chills the air

Make it end make me hear
The voice of man
But only fear do I hear

So scared I am that no one knows
I hold it all in
For fear of my foes
