Confused

Love is stupid

And I am blind

But you are kind

Of scary

The way you stare at me

With eyes as soft

As crimson cherries.

Love is cruel

And I am young

When old songs sung

Anew

My dear you lick your lips

With tasty venom

And pure seduction.

Love is hurtful

But I am curious

Of you, my mistress,

Lovely

Lady of my dreams

Lay me down

So I may sleep.
