Untitled

as you crash into the room, sending

ripples like a stone breaking water

through the atmosphere, leaves me gasping,

bobbing, surfing through the peaks and valleys

of the disturbance you so casually giggled

one touch from you makes my heart

so big it swallowed the ocean

but you saved it with just a kiss

dares me to wander how you fly without a cape

leaving supersonic trails in the cloudless sky

**close your eyes baby, let us turn around and jump

forget the wings and open the umbrella

like a feather i swing back and forth under your gravity

and you whisper to me

"I am the gentlest letdown--"**
