WORTH IT ALL
Your skin,
Sun kissed
a reminder of all the summer days
we spent together.
Face covered in freckles,
a beautiful constellation,
you are.
Like string caught in a breeze,
Your hair, a toy for the wind.
Your eyes carry a twinkle,
Of mischief or happiness.
I do not know which,
Probably both.
I look into your eyes
An ocean of honey,
swirling with joy.
You soothe the anger within me
Through your every word.
And,
Calm the raging sea within me
Through your every smile.
You take me to the heavens of oblivion,
with your every touch.
pain never hurt me the way love did.
But regret,
Regret is worse.
and you are worth the risk.
