Arms of comfort and reassurance can change,
Quite quickly.
clinging with a new purpose.
Regardless though, I shall fall into your arms,
with faith in the goodness I had seen such time ago.
Blindfolded, I will wait for your warm embrace.
Blindfolded, I will wait for the caress of your delicate fingers.

There is no substitute for the unmatched craving of
another soul.
So please,
Try.

Open my heart, with force and might
for it’s hinges may be rusty,
Like an abandoned home.
and let in the gust
of hope and love,
to fill this empty heart.
To give life to the darkness within me.

Do not leave me here
Blindfolded, with arms wide open
Waiting for what will not come.
A blindfolded fool you have made me.
