The soul weeps
The head laughs
The heart aches
The mouth smiles
The eyes though, unable to fake it.
Windows of the soul, they speak what the mouth cannot say, they shout what the heart can’t share, and explain what the head can’t ignore.

They reveal the secrets we bury with thousands of smiles.
But don’t be fooled, for pretending is an art, merely second nature.
Don’t listen to the words said, listen to the secrets the eyes whisper.
Don’t watch the smile on the face, watch the way we stare endlessly into emptiness.

A distorted image, that’s perfectly clear.

Look into someone’s eyes, and you shall see the truth, they dare not share.
