A poem written for a patriotic mean
To describe the values engraved on my genes
Words combined to express each scene
That contributes to my one patriotic theme

A country filled with different cultures and traditions
Extravagant spots for unique destination
Values and norms which enhanced my identity
To stand up straight with good morality

To farmers of the land to pilots of the sky
Each family desires for their state to be high
Not in riches but in tradition and ties
Truth and happiness lay on their eyes

Now to express my patriotic and gratitude side
Read the following stanzas and let each words guide
Nor maybe the first letters and see what I mean
I am a Filipino and that's on my gene

I am a Filipino
An individual ready to reshape tomorrow
Making each second susceptible for growth
Producing outcomes relevant to our oath

Reshaped by the morals and values of my country
Observing justice for the benefits of the many
Understanding the concept of time and space
Delivering peace in various ways

To lived in a country full of smiles and dreams
Overflowing love from land and streams
Believing on the existence of the Superior above
Entrusting everything to express an unconditional love

Allowing changes to cross each waves
Finally learning our right to save
Influenced by heroes and family ties
Letting go of predicaments and lies

Independently striving for the best
Purely challenging my heart to a test
Indulging myself to create a patriotic oath
Open our hearts for our country's final growth.
