Regret

I would like to know

What exactly happened

To my life,

Why it is no longer

Filled with joy and happiness

I would like to know

If I did something wrong

That caused my life

To take a wrong turn

And end up

In this sorrowful place

No matter what I do

I cannot seem to get

Anything right

But instead

I create

More problems

For myself

I am full of sweetness

No more

Instead I am full

Of bitterness

And regret

But the thing of which

I regret

Is allowing myself

To continue breathing
