We had traveled
that old lonely road
in late June ......
We have worn out our shoes,
We battled the shadows
of lovers dreams
that given so many pains,
Now look at us
we are no longer together
all we have is the winters weather
holding on to memories,
My head is down
winter again made its round
where I stand on wet ground
where love will no longer be found,
Oh. whispering winds
what must I do ......
to get past these pains
of yesterday's rains,
The days are long
the nights are full of shows
that stroke's the flame
of that day in late June.
