In a darkening room by the window
Is where I sit gazing away at the stars
That shines from far,
I start to see in my darken dreams.
Ships are out on sea looking for me,
Men and woman are out looking for the lost
That has never been found,
Walking bare in a world that doesn’t care,
I see faces in the wrinkled of time,
Where doubts full among tears,
That last for years,
I see a young child crying out for me,
Saying set her free
while he stands bold in a world of dreams,
while they march on into the forest they go,
with a message of guilt,
the more I gaze out my window watching the stars
twinkling into the night,
I for a moment forgot all fright,
At times, I can still hear selfish cries of the night,
While the cold September winds wipe its hollowness,
tears do fall with my broken heart,
I struggle in this war of darkness,
Lonely I will always be,
While I am locked away in darken dreams.
