Remember when I slept with the thought of you,
when all I had was a single memory,
the smell of your scent around me.
When I could have crossed oceans for you,
die, and come back to life, just for you.

Remember when you said you loved me,
but, your love;
Your love,
your love hurt like,
blood and scars,
like broken bones,
like death and destruction,
like a total loss.

I sipped my tears back because you said you loved me.
It felt like each bone in my body was breaking, but you said you loved me.
It felt like I was touching death, but you said you loved me.
All the times I tried to move on, I turned back, because you said you loved me.

But this time,
this time, I am not turning back,
this time, I won't cross oceans for you,
