The whispering of the night
Kept me up throughout the night,
through the autumn leaves
were you staring at me;
Your voice was as gentle as time,
You whispered love in my ears,
You told me secrets of long ago,
A place I would have loved to had seen
In many dreams;
While the night moved along;
You sang me a sad song;
Into a deep sleep, I went
By morning you were gone,
But that gentle voice;
Sounded out into the autumn winds,
asking me if I would like to see him again,
That put a smile upon my face
While it gave me a limp of faith,
While the day was young,
My heart was filled with whispers of love,
Words of truth-filled my soul
With heaven on my mind
Oh, how it felt so divine.
Love found me just in time.
