Lies in a tank
Awaiting his fate
Mind is blank
Last crustacean
To enter that ***
Boiling water
Bubbling hot
Once a creature
Of the seas
Protective armour
Spine filled knees
Sharpened claws
To hunt his prey
Ocean bottom
Now far away
Eyes swivel
Dark as coal
Survey the scene
Helpless hole
Staring in
Whilst looking out
Human diner
Picks him out
Gloved hand appears
Grabs his sides
Fruitless battle
Twists and writhes
Arrives at ***
A helpless soul
Unclasping fingers
He's let go
