Uninvited

Darkness visits often

uninvited but not

unwelcome

arriving under midday sun

or moonless night

Darkness invades

forging a path resolute

guiding tears to the page

secrets unveiled

Darkness lingers

cloaking vulnerability

seducing clandestine thoughts

taboo love affair

Darkness retreats

relinquishing possession

revealing resplendent spirit

spontaneous dawn
