What would you do if you had one last chance
To grab hold of life and release that dance
You know the one, you’ve been neglecting for so long  Waiting for the day to be freed by the right song
Instead of a waltz, you move forward in a repetitive shuffle
Fearing your true nature will bring nothing but trouble
An unacceptable disruption of the status quo
A secret passion you must never, ever let show
Burning an endless fire deep down inside
With nowhere to go, having been convinced to hide
With each passing moment losing precious embers
Hoping that someone, somewhere will remember
That the dance has been the true path all along
Because after all, the ballroom of life is where we all belong
So release those flames and they will dance up to the skies above
And then all the world will see what you’re truly made of
