Please, forgive me, for I am lost and I am weak.
Teach me patience so I may join the ranks of the meek
and purge the tattered strings that bind my soul
so I may be loved and Love I may seek.

Bestow unto me a heart filled with light,
so I may at last endure the journey of thy rite.
I find myself choking on such pitiless Sin;
so please, I beseech Thee, aid me in my plight.

Oh Papa, though so far from the truth I may be,
my tears show my yearning for Thy clarity                                                                                      Anaesthetize these poisons that sicken my spirit
so the ways of Thy grace may be instilled in me.

Yes, I’m unholy, but still I hope Thou shall
see how I implore for the courage to not want to flee
when I must wander the valley of the shadow of Death;
I implore for faith that Thou shall be with me...

We are the I Am and the Serenity Prayer is the key to the Christ within...
