A tear lost in the darkness
is a caress that seducess dementia
It silently undresses sadness
leaving a trace at the edge of hysteria

It's agony turned into a pearl by sorrow
emerging from the whining of my soul
leaves a feeling that rips my sanity
and loneliness that numbs my hope

How many tears can one person cry?
Why it's so hard to cease the pain?
I can feel the tears building up
and my heart being captive by blame

My eyes keep bleeding tears
because if they stop
they will drown my wounded soul
