The Monster

The monster consumes me,

Whole,

Traveling through my system,

Rushing through my blood stream,

It ties me down,

Denying to let me go,

Unless I surrender to it,

Obey to its every command,

When it's gone,

I know that it is near by,

Mocking me,

Whispering that it will be back soon.
