A student
A boy
In disguise
As a ploy
For prudent behaviour
How long must be long enough
With starlight in his fingers
The sorcerer said he needed magic
He wasn't magical enough
If voices rang from Heaven
Such would be his Incantations
But, the master wanted a servant
Not an apprentice
