It's happened once again,
A single fragile moment,
In time this is insignificant,
In me this is a supernova.

Won't you leave me now,
I don't want your smile on my wall,
This world doesn't know you,
But I can't know you,
When you bring my towers crumbling down.

What if I told the war,
That they were safe and that's it's over,
I think they'd come out of hiding,
Maybe even get gunned down by my hands,
Red-handed, sociopath, dread.

I really love you,
Take time out of my day to remind you,
Yet I still despise the way I mourn,
For something that hasn't even died.
