Intertwined Fingers

The feel of your touch.

The taste of your kiss.

The reassurance of knowing

This irreplaceable bliss.

I can still feel the warmth

Of your comforting embrace.

I can still hear the words

You whispered that made my heart race.

Your lingering escence is

All that remains,

But that doesn't stop the

Blood from rushing through my veins.

Your beautiful eyes take

My breath away,

Along with those three words

I've always wanted to say.

I miss the feel of your hand in mine.

I miss the way our fingers intertwine.

I love how you are always there,

I love how you say you will always care.

I love the way you can always sense something's wrong,

I love how you always keep me strong.

No matter how long we may be together,

I know you will never see,

How much you truly mean to me.
