My typewriter says hello
My cup is full of water and whiskey
My life is in ruins
Thoughts for your plentiful emotions
My emotions have run dry
Like the surface of the moon
My life is in ruins again
Like the hole shaped shadows on Mars too
You're a star in desolate universe
I am in a galaxy too far away
Bit by bit I can feel your heart
I let go of my fears as I see courage in your smile
Your disarming eyes put me to rest
A typewriter by my side
Full of soaked literature
My thoughts have now gone wry and rueful
And turned into a journey
