Dark clouds are leaking bloods
Fear runs from the North to the South
Then, from the East to the West
Arteries and veins in open mines
Mountains are melting in ravines
The end to life is at hand.

Guns are belching with anger
Cruel pleasure in the skies
Torrential rain across the land
Christians or Muslims, all in tears
One pampers rap their waists
One by one we're being destroyed
Indifference we're to scoundrels.

O my Nigeria is drowning
In a seemingly endless blood
Hold her tight, else, she'll sink
Beneath the solemn Hades
Her life now a requiem song
And the truth is never heard.

Hear me out now that I speak
A pastor's head was served on plate
Fetus are resting on open stomach
Aid workers are paying with their lives
Yesterday, another Christ was hung
Before us are the infernal scenes.

Fatten figures are called as ransoms
Bags of money are taken for freedom
That pact is only but a changing flux
Money is taken, the victim is gone
Who'll predict the dept of the mind?
Right to life is only but a fallacy.

This Nation is a burning furnace
Her mountains are molten magma
Her ravine gorges are too slippery
Her vegetations are hunting nettles
Where can I stand to report my case?
On these pebbles, I present my case.
