Porcelain Doll
There's a girl in a window
At the coffee shop
And Lord shes seen it all
The way she's sitting looking pretty
She looks like a porcelain doll
Shes seen happy faces
And people without a reason to rhyme
They gather around her
And sit on the floor
To hear her story and forget about life
Can you feel the sunshine
Through the window
Does it ever get lonely at night
Does your heart still feel the cracks
From another owner in another time
There's a girl In the window
At a coffee shop
And man she's been around the world
In every place
Shes been handed down
In her faded blue gown
To try and bring
A smile to your face
Can you feel the sunshine
Through the window
Does it ever get lonely at night
Does your heart still feel the cracks
From another owner in another time
She has her dreams
But no one to tell
Her eyes tell a story of their own
Cause shes seen it all
And shes had a ball
They say goodbye
And they wish her well
They walk away
And leave her alone
Can you feel the sunshine
Through the window
Does it ever get lonely at night
Does your heart still feel the cracks
From another owner in another time
