The Fight

I wish that you would know me

I do

Know all the things that I've been through

My life I'd wish for you to see

I do

Remember how you looked at me

I wish you would know how much I loved you

I do

And how I strive to feel brand new

I wish I could be with you

I do

And you wanted that too

I wish you saw how I looked at you

I do

And all the things I'd do too

I wish you could be here with me

I wish this was a possibility

But that ended on that day

The day that you had planned and saved

The day I lost you

Lost you when you lost your fight

That fight was with your life

The life you felt no more

The life you had no longing  for

And I sit here alone with my heart still torn .
