Tendrils of the Past
My love, with my light I'll find you in this void.
She does not understand,
Even though upon my soul is her brand,
The past had else planned.
My love, please with my heart have not toyed.
Precious hope come no further in this abyss,
For here is only pain left to reminisce,
Please run, always cherish our bliss.
My love, afar now I see, almost there with memories enjoyed.
Leave now! Do not gaze!
For here all decays!
Your gentle mind it shall raze!
Stranger, I see only black and dreams destroyed.
Too long you stared, and stare back did pain's eye,
For in past's hurt do all dreams die.
