Did I ever once mention,
All that I've longed for you?
Did I ever once question,
If I even belonged with you?

I know you must hate,
To see me like this,
To come to my fate,
To end my true bliss.

But it must come,
And you know it.
And when you hear the droning hum,
You'll know my light has been lit.

You may fret,
You may be calm.
You may become upset,
But I’ll already be gone.
