I always wonder about you
Believe me it’s true
I always wonder about you
Even knowing the truth

I know you don’t care
Believe me it’s not fair
I always think what if
What if you did care

But if you cared
Drugs wouldn’t have even been an option
But if you cared
Visits could have been a motion

There was no motion though
No visits, no calls, nothing
But if you cared
You would have turned nothing into something

I’ve came to accept that you don’t care
I still believe that this isn’t fair
You get to decide to make some motion
But I’m like a failing boat floating in the ocean
I just sit back and wait to sink
While you can cause so much commotion

I have no say
All I can do is pray
In or out
Believe me either way I’ll be alright
Don’t come in and out though
Because then it becomes hard to fight
