i miss you
the way my hands
fit with your hips

do you miss me
my hands
holding you tight

why do i miss you
the way you'd fall asleep
when i would play with your hair

why won't you miss me
my gentle touch
brushing your hair out of your face

i want to see you
the way you looked that night
in your aquamarine dress

when you see me
are you reminded of the time we first met
as you walked into that humid summer classroom

i want to talk to you
the way we did
playfully, effortlessly

will you listen
the way you listened when i told you my story
my past

i want to love you

do you love me.
