As light escapes the day
The beast locks himself inside his cage
Thinking of another way
To gracefully forfeit the stage

Away from home but with herself
She’s given up on foreign help
Building walls for mental health
To forget the pain she’s felt

Slow return to their beginning
They see their life full of misuse
They begin to feel the planet spinning

The beauty in a life so pointless
