Affection comes in many forms
from light touches to long hugs
from flirty glances to long stares

from back rubs to him running his fingers through my hair
a playful poking of my side to the soft punches I place on his arm
from the soft giggles to the belly laughs I have when I'm with him
from the brushing of hands to the boops he places on my nose

These forms of affection cause my heart to leap
it beats faster and faster whenever he is near
I try not to let him affect me
but his smile and eyes are just so captivating

Lost in all these forms of affection
my heart races at the thought of him
