You wrapped yourself
Over my soul
Like the feeble vine
Climbing a wall

White were you
When you creeped up
And I melted you day by day

I anchored you
In the times of need
Never letting you lean down

Little did I feel
How tight you grew around
Till you squeezed the life out of me
