I look up to the sky
And I wonder why
The clouds are so grey
Yet it never rains
What kind people are we
That we can still stand free
And right next door
The children are so poor
There was a ****** down the street
But to the killer he was just a loaf of wheat
Here for just a little while
Before becoming out of style
Can it ever be changed
Here in these messed up plains
And when it finally rains
It doesn’t wash away the pain
We are left in misery
Yet it’s just a simple mystery
It’s an easy task
Just remove the mask
To reveal who we are
It’s not too far
We can change today
Just like in a play
And we can change our way
Into a world without Dismay
I look up to the sky
And I wonder why
The sun is shining bright
Yet we don’t stand in the light
