hides a seemingly soft set
of razor sharp teeth

yes I remember all your cute angles
and how they cut so deep
in this house
so full of interruptions
such things
so real
now
there’s ghosts
in the walls
they wait
a passerby
they slip in
unnoticed

& Suddenly
I ache
