How many quantum events defined the result?
Sub-atomic, Ionic bonds breaking,
Forsaking the double-molecular atom.
It’s hard to dispose of waste
In such a clandestine fashion:
‘A half-life of 3 years.’

Standing in the dust of a meltdown-playground
I think I can hear the laughter and the crying of our children,
We’ll never see them in our waking lives
Only their silhouetted deformities
Leering monstrous in the night.
Look for shelter in an old church

Walking, radiating through the halls
Picking at the crumbling plaster,
Trying to master myself for a second:

“Severe and prolonged exposure,
Nausea, sickness, dizziness,
Fatigue…”
