Hotel Bathrooms.
I don’t trust you
the same way I don’t trust the towels
in hotel bathrooms
But if I could stop time,
I would cut all the strings
So you could pick yourself up
And move forward
You are beautiful
In the way that makes babies
Slowly stop speaking the unexplored
And stare with eyes too big
And too wide
But you are sad
In the way that makes people
Slowly stop speaking the explored
And stare with eyes too big
And too wide
