My heart weeps blood red tears
Before me I see all my fears
Yesterday you’re happy cheerful with glee
Today you’re gone a casket before me
They sing a song of a sleeping queen
They sing a song because you’re free

Time flies by and I still weep
I miss you but thou shall sleep
We visit thee as much as we can
But not seeing your face I can hardly stand
I know you’re up there as free as can be
But I need you down here to speak to me
I need you please my loving queen
An angel that walks without her wings
You have heard what I have to say
Just visit me and make my day
A poem I wrote after the passing of my grandmother. She was the light of my life and I miss her dearly. R.I.P Pat Nance
