Some years from present
There will be a time
When his reign ceases
And thus begins mine
His authority depleted
His tyranny no longer
His shameful crown
Retired to it's alter
On distant soil
There is a place
Eased from tensions, woe, and mistake
On countryside fair there is a castle
Lacking gallows, threats, chains, and shackles
All is mine and mine to rule
By god I swear I'll prove no fool
I'll redeem my name on the morrow
A righteous name again, forgetting sorrows
My kingdom will not be like his
The sun will shine where once was mist
On a difficult adventure I will embark
To bring light where once was dark
With heirs seated on my left and right
They shall be evidence to the break of night
By oath one day I'll climb that peak
I'll march every valley, hill and creek
The time may be far but my dreams are not
So I shall retire to those
Since the fight has already been fought.
