The pain I see in the back of your eyes
As you stare at me
Shaves years off my face and puts razors
In my blood
It sets the acid inside my stomach on fire
And arthritisizes my joints
The stare I send you sees deep in
Through the window
I can alleviate our pain with a word, an action or a kiss
So close, yet galaxies apart
Your eyes show your heart, I send my heart
In hopes that our hearts will beat as one
And that our torture may end
And that my sheepish ways may end
And that we become singular
And that the stars above form and bend for us
